Honours and Awards
In1997, I was presented the Vicky Metcalf Award for a body of work considered inspirational to Canadian Youth.
The Canadian Authors Association administered the award in those days.
It is presently administered by the Writers Development Trust.

The Boy in the Burning House (also known as Il Ragazzo in fiamme ) has won the literary prize "Insula Romana" as the best young adult book of the year in the Umbria region.
